The York Rose
One of the most magnificent Rose reproductions we have taken and reproduced from the Cathedral and Church Misericords. Originally carved in the 15 th Century c1433 -1470 when over this period major redevelopment took place at the Church and most of the Misericords were carved. This Rose is in truly remarkable condition, virtually as good if not better than the day it was originally carved. This reproduction captures the beautiful colour tones and fine detail applied by the original craftsmen that carved this rose in the Middle Ages.
