This hand crafted reproduction has been produced from a mould taken directly from the original medieval carving and which captures all the fine detail applied by the master craftsmen that carved these misericords in the middle ages, representing a true piece of England’s long history and heritage.

This is one of our unique and exclusive hand crafted Medieval reproduction carvings. This is a cast replica produced from a mould taken directly from the original carving found within Beverley Minster, England. We have exclusive permission to take moulds from original medieval carvings from within the Cathedrals & Abbeys of Britain and to then reproduce them for sale. These reproductions are cast from a resin composite and then stained to give the product all the fine detail, feel and authenticity of the original carving.

Taken from the medieval carvings found on the misericords and supporters in the choir stalls of Beverley Minster. This unique set of carvings seemingly done by the same craftsmen during a short period, they seem to depict aspects and values of every day life. They show scenes with both a sense of humour and teachings of moral importance especially from the view of the Catholic Church. This carving is of a woman working hard to grind the harvest corn into flour. Taken directly from the original carving this reproduction captures all the fine detail produced by the master craftsmen that carved the original. Designed to be wall mounted, comes with hanging hook and product label.
